2014 OAKVILLE CABERNET SAUVIGNON

On the nose, striking blue-black fruits have unmistakably become a signature of this expressive wine. Aromas of lifted violets, luscious black plum, cassis, and subtle hints of roasted hazelnuts precede a palate rich with pure delineated fruit, crushed stone, graphite and juicy blackberry. Bright yet firm acid structure provides freshness and dimension while balancing firm, age-worthy tannins. These tannins deliver supple mouthfeel and depth and textually, lend a hint of cocoa powder to a long finish. Both acidity and tannins provide tremendous ageability and cellaring potential. Enjoy up to fifteen years from vintage date.
